Camp Site Rules

Eco-Friendly Camping Rules for Twisted Realities

Welcome to our Twisted Realities LARP camping community! By following these guidelines together, we can all help create a welcoming environment where everyone enjoys nature respectfully and leaves a positive impact. Whether you’re a seasoned LARP camper or joining us for the first time, your thoughtful actions help protect the wild spaces we all cherish. Let’s work as a team to look after the land, support one another, and ensure our shared experiences are memorable for all the right reasons.

Guidelines for Responsible Camping and Minimum Land Impact

Emergency Procedures: Familiarise yourself with the site’s emergency protocols and keep a first aid kit accessible at all times.
By following these rules, our LARP club can help preserve the beauty and health of the camp site for future adventurers and protect the natural environment.

Respect Nature: Only camp in designated areas and avoid disturbing local wildlife, plants, or natural features.

Composting Toilets: Use composting toilets provided at the site and follow posted instructions to help maintain proper composting processes.

Leave No Trace: Remove all rubbish and belongings when you depart. Dispose of waste responsibly in designated bins or take it home.

No Electronic Music: To maintain the natural atmosphere, electronic music and amplified sound systems are strictly prohibited.

Campfires: Only light fires in approved fire pits. Never cut live wood or damage trees; use fallen branches for fuel if available or use wood from the wood store if available. It is recommended to also bring your own wood supply.

Water Use: Use water sparingly, and avoid polluting streams, ponds, or other water sources. No soap or chemicals should be used in natural water bodies.

Minimal Impact: Set up tents and props in a way that minimises impact on the ground and vegetation.

Noise Levels: Keep noise to a minimum after 1am out of respect for fellow campers and local wildlife.

Eco-Friendly Products: Use biodegradable soaps, detergents, and toiletries wherever possible. This is essential to the use of the land and to avoid contaminating the water table.

Recycling: Participate in any site recycling programmes and separate recyclables from general waste.

Wildlife Safety: Do not feed, approach, or disturb animals. Store food securely to avoid attracting wildlife to the campsite.
